Changing My Hairstyle

A few years ago, a friend of mine told me that my hair was a little dated. I was kind of offended at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that she was right. I needed a change, but I wasn't sure what I wanted. I started doing a little research, and I was able to find an incredible salon near my house that offered what I was looking for. I made an appointment, and the hairstylist walked me through a litany of styles, colors, and accessories. This blog is designed to help people to learn more about what a spa or salon can do for you, so that you can change your look too.

How The 4- Step Hydrafacial Treatment Process Works

One of the newest types of facial treatments on the market is the hydrafacial treatment process. It is a four-step facial treatment process that uses vortex technology for the facial treatment process.

The Tool

Hydrafacials are performed using a special tool that has four different heads that can be put on the Vortex technology tool. Each of these different interchangeable heads performs a different step in the facial treatment process. The four steps in the process are exfoliating, peeling, extracting impurities, and hydrating your skin.

Step #1: Exfoliation

To start with, the tool is used to exfoliate your skin. The tool is skimmed over the top of your skin to remove the outermost layer of your skin. This layer of skin is called the stratum corneum. During this process, all dead skin cells and dirt that are on the surface of your skin are also removed.

Your skin is exfoliated using a specific serum. This serum contains both lactic and glycolic acid to clean your skin. It also contains algae, which is included to help soothe your skin. It also includes properties to help keep your skin firm and smooth.

Step #2: Peel

Second, a teal tip is put on the tool. It is infused with a different serum that also uses both glycolic and salicylic acid. This tool is designed to help loosen up and remove dirt and dead skin cells from your pores. It is also designed to loosen the sebum in your skin, which is the substance that makes up the whiteheads and blackheads on your face.

Step #3: Extraction

Third, a different serum is added to the teal tip that has salicylic acid to keep things clean, and it also has extracts to help soothe your skin. You can also choose to have a serum used in this step that will help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. During this step, all the sebum, dirt, and dead skin cells are removed from your skin.

Step #4: Hydration

At this point in time, your skin should be clean. During this last step, the technician applies a special formula that is full of substances designed to help heal your skin and protect it from aging free radicals.

To help get your skin ready for the treatment, many technicians will put hot towels on your face and allow the steam to open up your pores. When your treatment is done, they may apply a sunscreen or hydrating lotion to your skin to help protect it and keep it safe.
